What image size does an Instagram post need?
A square post commonly uses 1080 by 1080 pixels, the portrait format 1080 by 1350. Stories and reels use 1080 by 1920. aixi resize produces these sizes from the same image with one click.
Why is part of my subject covered in a story?
The platforms place controls, text and buttons over the image, such as the header at the top and the caption at the bottom. aixi resize shows these safe areas in the preview and warns when a large part of the subject falls into them.
Is location data kept in the image?
No. The image is rebuilt completely during cropping, which removes all embedded metadata such as the location of capture and the device identifier. This matters in particular for photos taken with a mobile phone.
Does it cost anything or do I need an account?
Use is entirely free and possible without registration. A free account extends the storage of results from 24 hours to one week and lets you pick from your saved images.
Does the image become blurry when cropped?
Every reduction in size initially looks softer. aixi resize therefore sharpens the result moderately and also points out when the source image is smaller than the chosen format and would have to be scaled up.
